The process of turning basalt rocks into mineral wool is a multi-stage process, the main step of which is melting of the components at 1500 °C

After sorting and melting of the natural material, the lava-like mass is delivered to a platinum centrifuge, where the process of drawing out the stone fibers takes place

Then water-repellent components and plasticizers are added to the obtained fibers, after which the second stage of melting at a temperature of 200 °C takes place and the final stage is completed.
