Why does fading and corrosion occur?
Gradual color change under the influence of sunlight is considered a natural process. High-quality polymer coatings fade slowly and evenly, so small changes in hue become noticeable only after many years of operation.
It is much more dangerous when the protective layer is damaged mechanically. Through deep scratches or chips, moisture gets access to the metal, which can lead to corrosion over time. Such processes develop especially rapidly in areas with high humidity, industrial emissions, or under constant exposure to salts and chemically active substances.
Even the most durable coating is not designed to disrupt the installation technology. Using unsuitable tools, damaging the surface with abrasive wheels, or untimely removal of metal shavings can significantly shorten the service life of the panels.
